Gardening is a hobby of mine that I wish I had more time to do. I've gardened in 10 states and 3 countries, but Sedona has proved the most challenging. You must educate yourself, but it can be done beautifully! Many things grow here in the high desert that you might not think would thrive, such as roses, irises, hollyhocks, daisies, candytuft, flowering trees, and even some fruit trees. Also, learning what grows naturally here and adding those plants & trees to your landscape will make it so much easier. Protecting your fauna from critters like javelina, rabbits, pocket gophers, cutter bees, and more is a real learning curve, but just makes it more fun and challenging.
A great looking garden can not only enhance the beauty of a home, but can also be a great source of enjoyment. If you are preparing your home for sale in Sedona or any other surrounding area city including Cornville, Oak Creek, Cottonwood, Jerome, and Clarkdale, Yavapai County area, make sure your home’s garden looks great.
